SpaceXAI has launched Team Bots, a new feature that lets groups of workers share a single Grok Bot. The company describes them as AI coworkers that work and learn alongside a team.
Users can give a Team Bot access to files, apps, and expertise. The Bot can then be shared so everyone on the team works from the same context.
How Team Bots Work
Each Team Bot is built around a role or workflow that a team shares. Everyone can use the same Bot while still working with it on their own.
A Team Bot combines four parts. Context gives it files, instructions, and skills. Plugins let it work in apps such as Salesforce, Notion, and GitHub.
Credentials let the Bot securely access third-party APIs that do not have a plugin. Memories help it keep what it learns and improve over time.
Although the Bot is shared, each person's conversations with it stay private. The Bot keeps separate context and memories for each user.
Teams can also use Team Bots in Slack. Each Bot has its own handle and can be invited into channels where everyone can see its answers.
How SpaceXAI Uses Team Bots
At SpaceXAI, every major sales account has its own Team Bot. Each night, the Bot reviews company news, recent Gong calls, Notion docs, and Slack threads.
Each morning, it posts a briefing in the account's Slack channel. The briefing covers what changed and what each team member should do next.
The company's Engineering Bot connects to Notion, Linear, Hex, Datadog, and Cursor. It triages bug reports, creates tickets, and launches Cloud Agents to handle well-defined fixes.
SpaceXAI said this setup helped a five-person team ship more than 100 pull requests a day. That team launched Team Bots in a few weeks.
The Marketing Bot reviews drafts against brand guidelines and messaging. Once content passes review, it can make website changes and post a preview link for final sign-off.
The Data Bot uses read-only credentials to query approved tables in Databricks. The data team gave it a library of skills for more than 45,000 tables, built over two years.
Data Bot also remembers corrections to its queries. What it learns from one person improves the answers it gives everyone.
Outside companies have also shared early results. Harper, an insurance company serving small businesses, built a Team Bot to find customers with lapsed policies.
"We built a Team Bot in 24 hours to automate this, saving our customers over $120,000 from hundreds of policies," said Dakotah Rice, CEO of Harper.
Angela Ferrante, Head of Marketing at Amplitude, said her company is "building toward Team Bots for every marketing function."
Team Bots is available now in public beta on Teams and Enterprise plans. SpaceXAI offers pre-built Team Bots for sales, product management, marketing, and data analytics.
