QuantHealth Raises $45 Million For AI Clinical Trial Simulation

QuantHealth, a company that builds AI tools for clinical trial simulation, has closed a $45 million Series B funding round. The round was led by Qumra Capital. Other investors included Pitango HealthTech, Sanofi Ventures, Artofin Venture Capital Fund, Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments, GC Ventures, NewHealth Ventures, Shoni Top Ventures, and Esplanade Ventures.

The Israeli company was founded in 2020. It offers a platform that lets drug makers test clinical trial designs before spending money on real patients.

What QuantHealth's Technology Does

QuantHealth's platform allows pharmaceutical and biotech teams to test different trial setups virtually. This includes patient groups, treatment arms, control arms, and other trial details.

The goal is to help companies spot problems in trial design early. This can save time and money before a real trial begins.

Orr Inbar, CEO and cofounder of QuantHealth, said clinical trials today still rely on real world testing. Teams run a trial, wait for results, then adjust based on what they learn.

Inbar said this process comes with high cost and risk. He said QuantHealth's simulation tools let teams review decisions before enrolling a single patient.

He added that the new funding will help make simulation a normal step in drug development.

Where The Funding Will Go

QuantHealth plans to use the money to build next generation AI models. The company also wants to grow its datasets and expand coverage of different diseases.

Part of the funding will go toward scientific validation of the technology. This means testing the accuracy of QuantHealth's predictions against real world results.

The company plans to grow its coverage to more than 40 disease areas. Focus areas include cancer, heart and metabolic disease, and inflammation.

QuantHealth also plans to grow its team. It wants to expand its products to cover more steps in drug development, from early trial design to market launch.

This is not QuantHealth's first funding round. The company came out of stealth mode in October 2022 with a $2.6 million seed round.

In 2023, QuantHealth raised $15 million in Series A funding. That brought its total funding at the time to $20 million. The company added more money to that round in 2024.

In October 2025, Sanofi Ventures made a strategic investment in QuantHealth. That deal brought the company's total funding to $30 million at the time.

Other companies are also working on AI tools for clinical trials. Novo Nordisk and H1 announced a partnership this week to build AI models for drug discovery and trial operations.

In May 2025, AI clinical development company PhaseV raised $50 million for its precision medicine tools. In January 2025, Lindus Health raised $55 million to grow its AI powered clinical trial services.

QuantHealth's new round pushes total funding for the AI clinical trial simulation space higher this year. The company has not shared a new valuation figure alongside this raise.
