What is Ophis?

Ophis is an intent-based, MEV-protected decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator purpose-built for the agent era. Instead of manually constructing swap transactions, users and autonomous AI agents describe trades in natural language ("swap 100 USDC for ETH on Optimism") and Ophis handles the rest: intent parsing, best-execution routing, MEV protection, and batch settlement. Non-custodial and built on CoW Protocol, Ophis runs sovereign settlement infrastructure on Optimism and Unichain, and routes across 12 EVM chains plus Solana and Bitcoin destinations via NEAR Intents.

Agents sign locally with their own keys and the receiver is pinned to the signer, so custody never leaves the agent.
• Volume-Tier Rebates: High-volume agents and DAOs automatically earn fee rebates via the built-in rebate indexer, and integrators earn a share of the fee on volume they route.

Pricing & Fees

The public Intent API and MCP server are free to use, with no API key. Ophis charges a flat 0.10% (10 bps) protocol fee on trade volume, reduced to 0.01% (1 bp) for same-chain stablecoin swaps. The fee is on volume only; 100% of any price improvement (surplus) beyond your signed quote is returned to the trader.
