Wonderful AI Raises $550 Million Series C at $5 Billion Valuation

Wonderful, an AI startup based in Israel and the Netherlands, has raised $550 million in a Series C funding round. The deal pushes the company's valuation to $5 billion.

That figure is more than double the $2 billion valuation Wonderful reached in March 2026. The jump happened in under six months.

Insight Partners led the new round. The firm also led Wonderful's previous funding round earlier this year.

Other returning investors include Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners. Salesforce joined as a new investor in this round.

Wonderful was founded in early 2025. In just over a year, the company has expanded its operations across more than 35 countries.

How Wonderful Built Its Business

The company first gained traction with a customer service AI agent platform. It built and customized this product for non-English-speaking markets around the world.

Wonderful also relies on forward-deployed engineers. These are teams the company sends to work directly with customers, sometimes at their offices, to help set up and connect its AI tools to existing systems.

This hands-on approach has helped the company grow quickly. Demand for engineers who can implement AI tools inside businesses has grown across the industry this year.

Wonderful's product has changed since its early days. The company has moved past its original focus on customer service.

It now offers a broader platform called Wonderful AI OS. The platform connects AI agents, workflows, and applications with a company's data and existing systems.

Wonderful says the platform works with any AI model. It also works alongside tech stacks that companies already use.

What Wonderful Plans To Do Next

Roey Lalazar, Wonderful's CTO and co-founder, described the platform's flexibility in a statement. He said customers can pick which parts of the platform to use and connect them to their own systems.

He added that customers can choose the best AI model for each task. Lalazar said companies keep ownership of everything they build on the platform.

Wonderful plans to keep using its forward-deployed engineer strategy going forward. The company says this approach helps it embed its tools into customer operations faster.

The $550 million from this round will go toward several goals. Wonderful plans to build new products at a faster pace.

The company also plans to expand its forward-deployed engineering teams. This will help it keep up with customer demand across its markets.

Wonderful has not shared a timeline for when new products from this funding round will launch. The company said only that the money will support its next phase of growth.

The round marks Wonderful's second major funding announcement in 2026. It also marks the first time Salesforce has invested in the company.
