ASUS unveiled a wave of new AI infrastructure products this week. The announcement came during ASUS AI Tech 2026, held in Seoul, South Korea. The company said the expansion covers everything from cloud servers to edge devices.
The event highlighted new partnerships. ASUS is working with Intel, AMD, IBM, Samsung, and Schneider Electric. Smaller partners including Aleria, Foxlink, and WD were also mentioned.
New Servers Target Data Centers
ASUS introduced several new server models built for enterprise use. Two of them, the RS700-E12-RS4U and RS720-E12-RS12U, run on Intel Xeon 6 processors. ASUS says these are meant for AI, high performance computing, and data heavy tasks.
Another model, the XA P8I-E13A, is a six unit system. It uses the Intel Xeon Next Gen processor platform. ASUS designed it to support GPU acceleration for larger AI workloads.
On the AMD side, ASUS launched the RS720A-E14B-R32U and RS500A-E14B-R12U. Both run AMD EPYC 9006 Series processors. The company describes them as flexible systems for data centers and business applications.
A third AMD based system, the ESC8000A-E13P, stands out for its accelerator hardware. It includes AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe accelerators. ASUS says this setup is built for AI inference and agentic AI tasks.
Edge Computing Gets New Hardware
ASUS also focused on AI outside the data center. The company introduced its Industrial Edge Server line. These machines are meant for factory automation, video surveillance, and healthcare settings.
ASUS explained that processing data locally has benefits. It keeps sensitive information, like patient records or production data, on site rather than sending it to the cloud. This can help companies meet data privacy rules.
Edge hardware also needs to survive tougher conditions than typical servers. Factory floors, hospitals, and power plants can have extreme temperatures or unstable power. ASUS said its edge systems are built to handle these conditions.
The new RUC-2000 series embedded computer is part of this edge lineup. It runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. ASUS says it can deliver up to 180 AI TOPS of processing power.
ASUS positioned the RUC-2000 for machine vision and video analytics. It is also being marketed for in vehicle AI applications. The device is fanless, which ASUS says adds reliability in rugged settings.
The company framed all of these releases under one theme. ASUS calls it "Ubiquitous AI, Incredible Possibilities." The phrase refers to embedding AI tools across its full product lineup.
ASUS said the goal is to help organizations build and scale AI systems. This includes moving workloads between cloud servers and edge devices as needed. The company positioned this as support for what it calls the next stage of computing.
No pricing or release dates were shared for the new hardware. ASUS did not say when the servers or edge devices would become available to customers.
