About WordRadar

WordRadar is a beta keyword research data product for indie builders, SEO researchers, and software agents. It provides access through REST and a native MCP server, allowing compatible AI clients to retrieve research data within a broader workflow. Research decisions remain with the user.

Its keyword corpus retains first-seen dates so researchers can examine when a term first appeared in that corpus. These dates describe WordRadar's own collection and do not establish the first use of a term across the entire internet. WordRadar also tracks new websites appearing on Hacker News and offers heuristic SERP difficulty scoring to help users investigate search competition.

Public boards and the aggregate keyword-pulse endpoint provide a free first look. Other detailed REST and MCP queries require API keys and use metered credits. The advertised one-time prepaid credit packs contain 2,000 credits for $19, 6,500 credits for $49, and 15,000 credits for $99. These are prepaid packs, without a monthly subscription price in this listing.

The hosted native MCP endpoint is https://www.wordradar.dev/mcp and uses Streamable HTTP. Setup guidance is available at https://www.wordradar.dev/docs/mcp, while REST documentation is available at https://www.wordradar.dev/docs/api. Users should consult the current official documentation for supported queries, authentication, and credit usage. A real API key should be kept private and should never be pasted into a public directory listing.

Possible research workflows include investigating emerging terms, checking corpus first-seen signals, examining websites discovered through Hacker News, and comparing heuristic search-difficulty signals before doing further validation. The product is in beta. Corpus coverage and heuristic scores have limits, and the signals do not guarantee rankings, traffic, demand, revenue, or an exhaustive view of the web.
